Australian solar company CBD Energy has secured a $AU25 million line of credit from an American financial institution, as well as merging with American solar company Westinghouse Solar.
The credit line will facilitate the funding of CBD’s provision of up to 3 MW of rooftop solar projects in Italy, which the company anticipates will increase to 5 MW of solar per month across Europe.
The merger with Westinghouse Solar is anticipated to come into effect in the third quarter of 2012.
